About Us

Heidi L. Jennings, CPA, CITP

I am a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Technology Professional and Certified Quickbooks Proadvisor that has a passion for helping businesses maximize their profits by optimizing their accounting processes. My work experience includes 10 years at a regional CPA firm and almost 15 years with a local CPA firm that I helped start.  I have experience with individual and business taxes, financial reporting, Quickbooks consulting/training, software consulting, process consulting, IT and staff management. My diverse background gives me a unique perspective, because I can consider various aspects of a company’s processes and how they relate rather than just focusing exclusively on the accounting.

I have also spent the vast majority of my career developing processes that create structure and continuity for all types of businesses.  Structured environments lead to greater productivity for staff which should lead to improved profitability. Consistent and documented processes will help minimize disruption caused by a key member leaving. Creating that piece of mind for business owners is what I love to do.

On a more personal note, I graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business in December of 1996. I have been married to my best friend for 24 years, and we have 3 children (ages 22, 20 and 18) that are my world. I love to read, I play the piano and I am inspired by new challenges.

Jeff Jennings, CPA

I have spent the last 20 years as the controller for a Fishers, Indiana based construction company. In my time there, the company evolved from a small improvement and remodeling company to a large multi-state, multi-company enterprise managing projects into the millions of dollars. In addition to providing the financial reporting for four construction companies, I provided ownership with information not only of the company’s overall financial results but also how individual project managers contributed to those results. The information improved the bidding process, assisted in managing future opportunities and encouraged good practices throughout the rest of the company.

I was inspired to start Quarter One Club because of my desire to help small business owners feel more confident with their finances. Many small companies can find it difficult to afford hiring a full-time accountant. I wanted to provide affordable and accurate financial reporting to alleviate the stress of not knowing whether the information in their accounting system is reliable.

I grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana, had the honor of being a member of a state championship football team in high school and my mom made sure I grew up to be a life-long fan of Notre Dame. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where I graduated from Kelley School of Business. I am a Certified Public Accountant, have been happily married to my wife, Heidi, since 1996 and have four children.

Nate Jennings

I graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in May of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology and a specialty in Database Administration. Since my senior year of high school, I have been learning new software and writing my own to accomplish various business objectives for many businesses as an employee and contractor. I have been on the enterprise architecture support team of a large insurance company, and I have written software for many small businesses to improve internal processes.

Since 2019, I have also been completing projects under my own business MakeMyInvoices, LLC which works in conjunction with Quarter One Club occasionally (like building this Website) in addition to my full-time job as a Software Engineer for a national non-profit organization.

I recently purchased my first home near my family, and hope to establish myself and my business more in Hamilton County as my experience grows.
